CONCORDIA -- The funeral for Edmund BUCKLEY, 73, was to be Friday, the Rev. Donald Hines officiating, with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mr. BUCKLEY died at St. Joseph's Hospital after an illness of three weeks. He was born July 10, 1882 at Ames, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James W. BUCKLEY.
In 1906 he married Ella Bourgeois in Concordia. They lived in the Ames neighborhood until 1931, when they moved to Concordia. Mr. BUCKLEY the past nine years was a city park employe.
Survivors include the widow and these sons and daughters: Mrs. Harry SOMMERS, Robinson, Kas.; Clarence, Boulder, Colo.; Mrs. Kenneth SMITH, Mulvane, and Leland, Concordia; a brother Isaac, Boulder, Colo., and a sister, Mrs. Bessie BURNS, Concordia. [Image #13]. *anc.com 08/27/2012.
