WINDBER — PETRUNAK – Allen G., 57, Windber, passed away after a long battle with cancer July 24, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 9, 1955, in Patton, son of the late George and Florence (Weakland) Petrunak. Survived by loving wife, Georgene (Silvis); daughters, Shelia, wife of Terry Peak, Altoona; and Shawna Petrunak, and husband, Darryl; stepsons, Donald Kick Jr., Portage; and James Kick, married to the former Dawn Marie Lego, Cresson; several grandchildren; and "Bright Eyes"; also very good friend, Tom Spence. Al was a heavy equipment operator for New Enterprise. He was an avid NASCAR enthusiast and Steelers fan. Also, Al and Jeanie were avid Harley riders. Family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, Father Leonard Voytek, officiating.
