Funeral of Alex Beadles Attended By Large Number Friends

A throng of friends attended the funeral services for Alex B. Beadles, 61, prominent Wingo citizen and real mail carrier, in Wingo, this afternoon.
The funeral was conducted by the Rev. A. D. Rudoiph at the Presbyterian church at 2:30 o'clock, followed by interment in Wingo cemetery. Rural mail carriers from the Mayfield post office were pallbearers.
Amoung the Mayfield people attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cloar, Mrs J. V. Morrow and daughters, Mrs R. L. Mahan, Mrs. Will R. Norman and Miss May Morrow, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Shelton, Mrs. George J. Covington, Mrs. Clifton Usher, Mrs. Alf Bennett, Miss Joe Lee Covington, Steve Austin, J. L. Crosby, Payne Winman, Polk Harper and Roy Farrell.
Mr. Beadles, who had been rural mail carrier from Wingo post office for twenty-four years died suddenly from asthma and heart trouble at his home in Wingo Tuesday night. He is survuved by his widow and four children.

Alexander is the son of Alfred B. Beadles and Mary Ann Morse. The grandson of William A. Beadles and Sophia Cashion.
