Mabel Frances Davis Coffey, known as Fannie, was the daughter of Michael Davis (1844-1918) and his wife Clara Jane Lutz Davis (1849-1927). Her father worked on a farm near Lincolnton, Lincoln Co., NC. Around 1898 Fannie married Millard Cicero Coffey (1879-1962) and the couple had four children: Caroline Persell (b. ca. 1905), Michael L. (b. ca. 1909), Clinard Yates (b. 1910), and Millard Reeves (b. 1918). Fannie died from a heart attack at the age of 90.
