Mr. Hansard was born Feb. 7, 1895. He was a former rural mail carrier.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Fountain Hansard, Demopolis, AL, to whom he was married Feb. 4, 1918; two sons, Roger L. Hansard, Demopolis, AL, and H. B. Hansard Jr., Rome, GA; a daughter, Dr. Mary P. Hansard, Baton Rouge, LA; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. (CST) today at Tuscaloosa Memorial Cemetery, Tuscaloosa, AL.
