Preceded in death by his son, Steven Bennett, surviving are his wife, Shirley Watkins Bennett; children, Tracy (Colonel John) Olesh of Montverde, FL, Shelly (Mark) Crapo of Kissimmee, FL, Shawna (Ramiro) Nunez of St Cloud, FL, Mayor Troy (Anne) Bennett of Montverde, FL; 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and brother, James Merideith of Neosho, MO. A Funeral Service will be held August 30, 2012 at Emanuel Baptist Church in Kissimmee with Pastor Carl M Burgner officiating - interment following.
