He was born and lived in North Little Rock until four years ago, when he fulfilled his dream to live on the lake.
He was past exalted ruler of the North Little Rock Elks Lodge where he was a longtime member. He was sales manager fo Harbor Distributing for many years.
His passion for golf led to the naming of his two sons. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sam H. Meredith.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Geri Meredith; sons, William Nicklaus and Bradley Palmer Meredith; mother, Mary Jane Meredith of North Little Rock; sisters Janet Lynn Meredith of Hot Springs, Cindy Glover and husband George "Budgie" Glover of Sherwood and Robin DeHaven of Little Rock; nieces and nephews, Meredith and Beau Glover and Beren and Drew DeHaven.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 25, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home with the Rev. Sam Williams officiating. Burial followed at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Arkansas Cancer Research Center.
