Mrs. Charles Baros
Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Baros of 1907 St Lawrence Street, Gonzales, were held Saturday, January 21, 1967 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. James Catholic Church, Gonzales, with the Rev. Father Anthony Elsing officiating. Interment was in the St. James Catholic Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Bobby, Clyde, Robert, Ronnie and Dr. James Baros.
Rosary was recited at the Seydler Chapel Friday at 7:00 p.m. led by Father Elsing.
Mrs. Baros passed away Thursday, January 19 at 8:23 p.m., following an illness of three weeks, at the age of 66 years, 2 months and 18 days.
Mrs. Baros, nee Albina Christina Pavlicek, was born November 1, 1900 at Shiner, the daughter of Vincent and Agnes (Broz) Pavlicek, natives of Czhechoslovakia respectively. She was married to Charles F. Baros on November 25, 1919.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church of Gonzales.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Baros of Gonzales; two daughters, Mrs. August (Angeline) Petras of Cost, Mrs. Alfon (Stella) Barta of Gonzales; two sons, Lawrence Baros of League City, Loddy Baros of Port Lavaca; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Wylie (Frances) McNatt of Corpus Christi.
Her parents preceded her in death, the father having died in 1922 and the mother in 1947. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters, Eddie Pavlicek, who died March 12, 1959, Frank Pavlicek, who passed away March 6, 1963 and John Pavlicek; Mrs. Julia Buesing, Mrs. Carrie Heinrich and Mrs. Herbert (Lillie) Siems of Shiner who died November 12, 1961.
