Welda Jane Martin was a mother to all and welcomed you as family when you came to her home. She loved her family, baseball, playing games with her family and friends, fishing and camping. But most of all Welda loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren on facebook, it gave her lots of joy.
Welda was a Charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 4038 and an active member in fundraisers, especially for children functions. She also served several years on the Dona Ana Mutual Domestic Water Board.
She was married to Billy Joe Martin for 39 years, where they built their family and home in Dona Ana.
Welda was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Kathy and grandson Wade, both of her parents Weldon and Jane Robinson.
She was survived by her brother and his wife. Her children; 2 sons and wives and 5 daughters; and her granddaughter, who she helped raise. Other precious family members. She had 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Graveside inurnment services took place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Angel Valley Funeral Home, Farmington, NM.
