Doyle W. Campbell passed away suddenly of a stroke on October 14, 2004. Born January 29, 1916 in Emery, Utah to Thomas Campbell and Effie Christiansen Campbell. He married Erma Pulsipher on September 9, 1937. She preceded him in death after 63 years of marriage and wonderful memories and experiences. Dad served his country in the Army Infantry during World War II in the Philippines and Okinawa. He was quietly proud of his service there. Dad liked to hunt and fish and loved the outdoors and spent much time there in his younger years. Dad was a steel worker for Eimco for 30 years and often spoke of his trade, skills, and friends he made there. He is survived by his two children; son Jerry (Sherle) Campbell, daughter Patricia (Wayne) Spencer, brother John Campbell, sisters; Ellen Williams, Beulah Carr, and Josephine (Don) Smith, 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. Funeral services held on Monday October 18, 2004 at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road. Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
