Parents are Cyrille and Marie (Bolduc) Beaudoin.

He was the founder of Ray Beaudoin and Sons Co., one of the city's first oil dealer and heating equipment firms.
He played football in his school days
His long list of athletic accomplishments included his favorite sport, baseball, which he played professionally, first playing with Hanover, Pa followed by play with Waterbury, Conn in the Eastern League He spent a brief stay with the International League. He wound up his professional career playing for Portland, Me., and finally in Manchester in the old New England League. He saw service with Augusta me., in the Coast League and played on several outstanding semi-pro teams when he left the professional ranks to start his business career.

He married Hazel Weeks on 3/27/1925. This is reported in the Rochester Courier on 4/3/1925 on page 1.

He has three sons, Raymond A. Beaudoin Jr., Robert and Norman all of Rochester; five daughters, Mrs. Roger Boisneau of Boston, Mrs. Marlene Cressey, Mrs. Rodney Wotton and Mrs Alfred Dumont, all of Rochester and Mrs. Bruce Hescock of Hanover.

Four sisters, Mrs. Frank Fisher, Mrs. Frank Clancy and Mrs Raymond Turner of Rochester and Miss Muriel Beaudoin of Boston; 23 grandchildren.
