Evening Sentinel (Carlisle) March 11 1915: Elias Barrick died Friday at the home of his son Elder, near Bowmans Bridge. Two brothers survive him, Jonathan of Upper Mifflin and Henry of Three Square Hollow, Four sons, Jacob and Robert of near Mt Hope, Elder of near Bowmans Bridge, and Samuel of near Newville. He sustained three strokes of paralysis. Interment was made Monday by undertaker Bower at Guisetown Church.

Elias married Elizabeth Failor, and 4 known children were born to them... Jacob Simon, Robert James, Elder Elmer, and Samuel Walter.

The death certificate for Elias shows birth on April 18, 1840, and death on March 5, 1915. Death in Frankford Township was due to cerebral hemorrhage. Names of parents shows as don't know - with informant being Elder E Barrick of Newville. Burial in Gisetown [sic] Yard.
