Mrs. Davidson died Monday, Aug. 21, at George H. Lanier Nursing Home in Valley. She was born in Randolph County on Dec. 24, 1905, daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Mary Grant Edmondson. She was a homemaker and a member of Westside Baptist Church in Lanett. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Davidson, and a son, William Earl Davidson.
Survivors include two daughters, Deane Hanlon of Fortson, Ga., and Julia Waites of Opelika; three sons, Robert Ford Davidson of Roanoke, Merl C. Davidson of Spartanburg, S.C., and Pete Davidson of Valley; 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Arrangements are by Benefield Funeral Home, Wedowee.
