LANG June C., 80, South Fork, died Nov. 27, 2008, at Arbutus Park Manor, Richland. Born Oct. 25, 1928, in Ehrenfeld, daughter of Raymond J. and Rowena M. (Jones) Jenkins. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Alex Lang, who died Oct. 3, 1984; son, Michael; infant son, Raymond; great-grandson, Justin Wilson; sisters, Naomi Silvis, Verdine Kaufman and Rowena Cauffield; and brothers, Jack and James. Survived by children, David, married to Helen Bier, South Fork; Sandra Lang, Roseland, La.; and Alex Lang, and his special friend, Bobbie, South Fork; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Lois Rhoades, South Fork; Jessie Saloney, Conemaugh; Virginia F. Ginny Lamonto, South Fork; Donna Krinjeck, Portage; Georgene Stein, South Fork; Ann Meck, South Fork; Martin Jenkins, Ehrenfeld; and Gary Jenkins, LeMoyne. June worked at the South Fork VFW Post 7524 for over 25 years, where she was a charter member of the ladies auxiliary to the VFW. She also worked at the former Arlington Hotel and Lamonts. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday by the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Donald Krestar. Interment, Sherbine Cemetery, Wilmore.
