Mehetabel Hylton was the daughter of William Hylton and Mary Johnson.

She married Alexander Campbell of Richmond, Virginia. After his death, she remarried.

She married Henry Kollock, the son of Revolutionary War Patriot Shepard Kollock and Susan Arnett, on 1 June 1804, Elizabethtown, New Jersey.

Ralph Hylton and Mehetabel Lawrence had three sons and one daughter:

3. William Hylton, of the Island of Jamaica, Esquire, born 19 Feb 1749-50. He married Mary, fourth daughter of Jacob Johnson, of Springfield, in Westmoreland, Jamaica, on 4 June 1771.

William Hilton and Mary Johnson had two sons and two daughters:

3. Mehetabel, born 23 Dec 1773.

Mr Hylton's daughter, Methetabel, married Alexander Campbell of Richmond, Virginia. She married, after a period of widowhood, on June 11, 1804, to the Rev Dr Henry Kollock, then pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Elizabeth Town, New Jersey, by the Rev John Henry Hobart. Dr Kollock died in Savannah, Georgia, on December 29, 1819. His widow survived him many years. They had no children.
