Nicholas C. Eiler, 64, life-long resident of Delaware County, died at 11:30 p.m. Sunday at his home, 418 South Pershing Drive. Mr. Eiler had been engaged as a coach painter for some time, being associated with Charles Gass, Fred Klopfer, and Tracey Heckenhauer. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and the K. of C. Lodge of Muncie.
Surviving are the widow, Marie; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Wait of Council Bluffs, Ia.; three brothers, Chris, John, and Jesse Eiler, all of Delaware County; and a half-brother, George Eiler of Muncie.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Lawrence Church with Father Joseph Lenk in charge. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Meeks mortuary.
