Rufus Yellock, 81, of 217 Allen Baynes Road died Sunday at his home. Funeral [was] at Allen's Chapel Baptist Church, of which he was a member. Burial [was] in the church cemetery. He was a native of Caswell County.
[Relatives] are wife, Mrs. Vandilia Cohn Yellock; daughters, Mrs. Georgia Cousin, Mrs. Mary Ruth Baynes, Mrs. Kay Frances Parker, all of Burlington, Mrs. Jo Ann Parker of the home; sons, John Henry Yellock of Mebane, Rufus Lee Yellock of the home; sisters, Mrs. Mabel Holt, Mrs. Hallie Mae Currie, Mrs. Julia Graves, all of Mebane; stepbrothers, Legrant Hester of Mebane, Calvin Hester of Burlington; 23 grandchildren.
