Mrs Minnie McGirk who has made her home with her son Albert F Henry 1258 Blair Avenue,Tyrone for the past 20 years.She died in the Altoona Mercy Hospital yesterday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock. She had been a patient in the hospital for 6 weeks and had been ill for more than two months. She was born April 13, 1876, in Jackson township, Huntingdon county, the daughter of John and Mary E. Mitchell Strunk. She was twice married first to B. C. Henry and later to J. E. McGirk. Surviving are these children to the first husband Ernest A. Henry, Ashland Ohio; Albert F. Henry, Tyrone; William Henry, McAlevy's Fort; Russell W. Henry, Minneapolis,Minn.; Mary Ethel Pecht, Lewistown,also 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, a brother Thomas Strunk, Allentown, and a sister, Ninnie Wilson, McAlevy's Fort.She was a member of the Steffy Lutheran church, McAlevy's Fort. Friends will be received at the Spyker funeral home, Petersburg, after 3 p.m. tomorrow until 11 a.m. Saturday when it will be taken to the Lutheran church at McAlevy's Fort where services will be held at 2:30 pm, in charge of the Rev.George E. Nein. Burial will be in the Steffy Lutheran cemetery..
