Miss Mary Antionette Lamkin was the 18-year-old daughter of E. S. Lamkin.

THE LEBANON ENTERPRISE, January 18, 1929. DEATH CLAIMS YOUNG GIRL.

Miss Mary Antionette Lamkin, 18 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Lamkin, died Monday afternoon shortly after 5:00 at the home of her parents near Raywick. Death was due to complications and followed an illness of about a week.

Miss Lamkin was an unusually bright young girl and possessed a sunny disposition. She had man friends in the community where she lived who were shocked to learn of her passing. She was born in this county on June 17, 1910. Besides her parents she is survive by two sisters, Mrs. Walter Spivey, Akron, Ohio and Mrs. Ed Lamkin, Louisville and by four brothers, Earl, Robert, Alvin, and Edward all of Raywick.

Funeral services were held at St. Francis Xavier Church at Raywick Wednesday morning by Rev. Vincent Sciola. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Her death certificate #3625 said she died in the Raywick Voting Precinct #16, Marion County, Kentucky at 5:10 p.m. of Lobar Pneumonia, from which she suffered for seven days. Her physician was Dr. M. P. Oldham of Raywick, Kentucky. She was a school girl aged 17 years, six months, and 27 days. The informant for this certificate was Earl Lamkin of Raywick, Kentucky. Bosley & Son was the undertaker in charge of arrangements for her burial here on January 16, 1929.
