CLAYTON, Ga. - Mrs. Jessie C. York Russell, 66, of Route 2, widow of Lawrence M. Russell, died Wednesday at Ridgecrest Medical Center.
Born in Rabun County, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Cara Jones York, and was of the Jehovah's Witness faith.
Surviving are stepson, James Russell of Moorehead, Ky.; brother, Henry York of the home; half brother, the Rev. Julius G. York of Clarkesville.
Services at 10 a.m. Friday at Mize Mortuary Chapel by layman Jerry Schopt. Burial in Tempson Cemetery.
