Henry J. Rothrock (went by Harry) was the youngest of six known children of Henry Rothrock (1792-1872) and Nancy A. Ramsey (1805-1894), who married 26 Sep 1826 at Bellefonte, Centre County, Pennsylvania.
Harry married Mary C. Woods (1844-1917) on 29 Dec 1863 at presumably Pennsylvania. Harry and Mary were the parents of three known children, namely:
1. Arthur Ramsey Rothrock (1865-1915)
2. George Edward Rothrock (1868-1956)
3. James H. Rothrock (1874-1958)
Harry's tombstone is said to read 1842-1917, however his death certificate clearly shows died in 1915, which I will use. In 1870 the parents and two eldest children were living at Spring Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. A George Graffius (age 70, father-in-law?) was living with them. In 1880 the family was living at Centre County, Pennsylvania. A nephew?, Mather Kahoe (age 16, born NY) was living with them. In 1900 the parents were living at Centre County, Pennsylvania. Mary said she was the mother of three, all living. In 1910 the parents, along with son James and his family, were living at Centre County, Pennsylvania.
