Marsha Rae (Cairns) Burwick, age 58, of Joplin, MO passed from this life Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO.
Marsha was born October 11, 1953 in Joplin, MO. to the union of Ralph and Geneva (Walton) Cairns.
She was a beautician and worked for Missouri Styles. She later became a Nurse Technician at Freeman Hospital.
She was a member of the New Creation Church of Joplin, MO.
Her hobbies included spending time with her family, and especially her dog Peaches.
Survivors include, one son Henry Silvey of Joplin, MO; two sisters, Linda Hendrix and Martha Wells of Joplin, MO.; she is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Glenda Ray; two sons, Tommy and *Canny *Clark; and two nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday August 27, 2012 at the Baxter Cemetery, Baxter Springs, KS.
Rev. Cliff Mansley will officiate.
Family will receive friends at 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday evening August 26, 2012 at Derfelt's Baxter Chapel in Baxter Springs, KS.
