HICO - Ethel Elva Compton, 63, died Feb. 22, 1996, in Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill, after a long illness.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving: husband, Cecil W. Compton; son, Watson Wayne of Fayetteville; daughters, Connie S. Mitchell of Huntington, Beulah L. Rader of Summersville; brothers, Willard Ray Exline of Charleston, SC, Sanford "Duck" Exline of Strange Creek; sisters, Stella Mae Taylor and Rosalea Cutlip, both of Akron, OH, Beulah Burns of Tallmadge, OH; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Okey Wayne officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Ansted. There will be no vistation.
