My great-grandfather was the son of Joseph and Frances Daniels Krickbaum. He was married to Blanche Holsinger and they had 2 sons Marvin and John. He was also survived by grandchildren John, Janet and Michael Krickbaum, and Cathy Snoots, and great-granddaughters Jennifer and Jessica Snoots, a niece Peggy Naylor who he helped raise, and his sisters Bessie Subock & Thelma Sadler.
Pop was big into baseball. He played it alot as a young man until the doctor told him he had to stop for his health.
I was 3 when Pop died and just remember him being very tall and heavy, and being irrationally scared of him even though he was a really nice guy! I called him "Pop-Up-The-Steps" because you had to walk up a big flight of stairs to get to their apartment!
