Thomas David Jones was the 4th child and 3rd son of Thomas W. Jones (from Llanllawaddog, north of Abergwili, Wales) and Elizabeth Lewis (from Solva near St. David's, Wales). His father worked in steel mills in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. His Welsh parents migrated to the USA around 1855. Many members of his family worked in the steel mills in & around Pittsburgh, PA. His mother and siblings relocated in Sullivan, MO; and to Marissa, IL. His wife, Harriett R. Jones, who died 15 years earlier, is interred nearby, and may have been a Riggs. Our family records do not show any children.
