She was born July 15, 1923, in Munising, Mich., and came to Sarasota 10 years ago from Ann Arbor, Mich. She was a homemaker. She was a volunteer at Gulf Gate Library and Sarasota Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, William; a daughter, Patrice Poznanski of Lakeland, Mich.; two sons, David of Milan, Mich., and Craig of Owosso, Mich.; a sister, Barbara LaBryn of Grand Rapids, Mich.; two brothers, Craig Haglund of Santa Maria, Calif., and Dick Haglund of Venice; and five grandchildren.
Services were private. Robarts Brothers Universal Memorial Center of Sarasota is in charge.
