Marion R. Moore, 84, of Route 219, Brockway, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Highlandview Heathcare in Brockway.
Born Sept. 16, 1927, in Brookville, she was a daughter of the late Roy B. and Florence Thomas Reitz.
She was married to Jay C. Moore, who preceded her in death Dec. 24, 2006.
She was a retired payroll clerk at United Electric and attended the Lighthouse Community Church in Brockway where she served as treasurer. She was also a charter member of the Brookville Eagles Auxiliary.
She enjoyed reading, playing cards, puzzles and spending time with her family.
She is survived by three sons: Alan (Mary), Donald (Lisa) and K.P. (Michelle), all of Brockway; one brother, Walter (Barb) Reitz of Iowa; five grandchildren: Rene, Nicholas, Jake, Kristin and Ashley Moore, and two step-grandchildren, Carollynn and C.J. Patterson.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home in Brockway. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Lighthouse Community Church with the Rev. Vic Baxter officiating.
Burial will be in Temple Cemetery in Hazen.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lighthouse Community Church.
