On Friday evening April 11 at 11:30, occurred the death of Mrs Mary A. Buell at the home of her daughter, Mrs W. N. Bresee with whom she had made her home for over ten years. Mrs. Mary Ann Buell was the daughter of the late Philander G. and Sara Ann Baldwin and the only one surviving family of nine children. Mrs. Buell was born in the town of Westford June 22, 1846, was married October 27, 1864 to Mr. Albert Buell of Middlefield, N.Y. who died in the year 1916. Five children being born blessed their union.
She is survived by two sons, Lyman Buell, and Walter Buell, two daughters: Mrs W.N. Bresee, Mrs Julia B. Wood, one grandson, Walter Wilbur, five granddaughters, Mrs Robert Williams, Mrs Florence Bresee, Mrs Vivian Buell, Miss Mildred Buell, Mrs Claude Whitbeck. Mrs. Buell was laid to rest in the family lot at Lakewood Cemetery.
