Theodore Michael Schafer Jr., 50, of 3511 Whitney Ave., Palmer Township, died yesterday in the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He underwent open heart surgery on Wednesday.
Mr. Schafer was employed in the shipping department of Schaible's Bakery the last nine years.
Born in Easton on Oct. 15, 1922, he was a son of Theodore M. Schafer Sr., Butztown, and Mrs. Isabelle Van Syckle Davis, Easton.
He was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ, Wilson.
