2nd obit:
"Amsterdam Evening Recorder, Wednesday, June 12, 1907
Mrs. Stewart Nellis.
Mrs. Stewart Nellis, of Johnstown, who for the past two weeks has been an inmate of the state asylum at Utica, died at that institutioin on Monday night, from heart failure.
Mrs. Nellis is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Myron Felton of Amsterdam, and Mrs. Clarence Baker, of Schenectady; one son, Lester Fonda, of Johnstown; four step sons, Howard, Andrew, Grant and Harrison Nellis of Johnstown; two brothers, Charles and John Copp of Amsterdam, and three sisters, Mrs. William DeForest of Cranesville; Mrs. John Firth of Amsterdam, and Mrs. John Hayward of Johnstown."

Note: More errors?, Mrs Myron Felton should be Mrs. Myron Filkins. Who is Mrs. Clarence Baker? The only other daughter I know of was, Ella Fonda, who in 1910 census, was single, living with her sister, Cora Filkins.

2nd note: The stone added to Stewart's memorial says 1855, not 1853 but according to Albany Rural Cem burial card and Alms House index he was born in 1861.
