Bonnie Bess Moyers, 60, of Burlington, died at 12:33 a.m. Sunday, January 22, 2006, at Marigold Health Care Center in Galesburg, Illinois.
Born September 15, 1945, in Ft. Madison, she was the daughter of Edward and Helen Hariett Ivins Broadfield. On April 2, 1976, she married Wendell D. Moyers in Monmouth, Illinois.
Mrs. Moyers was a computer operator for Winegard Company for 10 years and worked at Southeastern Community College for five years.
She attended the Congregational church. She was a member of the YWCA and enjoyed traveling, playing softball, basketball, golf, the outdoors and animals.
Survivors include her husband; her mother of Burlington; three stepsons, Michael Moyers of Burlington, Jeffrey Moyers of Arlington, Texas and Timothy Moyers of Plano, Texas; one step-daughter, Mary Beckman of Iowa City; six grandchildren; two sisters, Connie Settles of Burlington and Neoma Carmen of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; and one brother, Jake Broadfield of Augusta.
She was preceded in death by her father and one sister.
