Mrs. Frances Libby "Nana" McNair, 92, of Moultrie died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, at Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home with the Rev. Julian Griner officiating.

Born Jan. 13, 1910, in Thomas County, Mrs. McNair was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. D.G. Libby. She was a retired secretary with the Colquitt County Health Department and was a member of Moultrie's First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, David C. Dyke; a daughter-in-law, Jane Dyke; and two sisters, Evelyn Libby Miller and Marion Libby Brown.

Survivors include her husband, Tom O. McNair of Moultrie; a son, Joe Dyke Sr. and wife Joyce of Jarvisburg, N.C.; a daughter, Rhetta Strange and husband Wayne of Tallahassee, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Joe Dyke Jr. and wife Debbie, Libby Dyke Weaver and husband Larry, Marsha Shope Wingate and husband Jimmy, Carla Dyke Taylor and husband Terry, Dyke Strange, Tommy Dyke and Julia Strange Seale and husband William; 13 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Frances Libby and Louie Carl Dyke married in Gadsden County, Florida, in 1928. They had (at least) three children:
David Carl Dyke (1929-1996,)
Louie Joe Dyke, Sr. (b. 1931 and still living in 2011,) and
Rhetta Dyke Strance (b. after 1935 and still living in 2011.)
The couple apparently divorced, as Frances married Tom McNair ca. 1950.
