Brother of Kazuo Abey of San Rafael, Doris Hrubant of Portland, Oregon, Fumi Ogi of San Francisco, Mitsuko Kawanami of Morgan Hill and Miyo Itakura of Oakland and Grandfather of 2.

He was a retired Gardener.

Services were held at the Mountain View Buddhist Temple, 575 North Shoreline Blvd., Mountain View. Family inurnment, Alta Mesa Memorial Park, Palo Alto.
