SALVATORE PATRICK TECCHIO BROOKLYN, NY Salvatore Patrick "Doda" Tecchio, 88, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Salvatore was born and raised in Jersey City (Marion), before moving to Brooklyn in the 1960s. Beloved husband of Rose (nee Lo Nigro); loving father of daughter Maria and son-in-law Dr. Brendan Lee; loving grandfather of Max Lee. Salvatore is survived by his brother Paul B. Tecchio. Salvatore was predeceased by his loving brothers, Vincent, Samuel and Michael; his sisters, Jean Tecchio and Fanny Magnotta. Salvatore is also survived by many loving nieces & nephews and great-nieces & nephews. Salvatore and Rose will always be grateful to their friends and neighbors of Bayridge, Brooklyn, NY for their help, love and caring. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at Evergreen Funeral Home on Sunday, January 31, 2010, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with a funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, Jersey City, at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
