Vergie Louanna Beasley Anderson Langston, 91, of Canyon, formerly of Vigo Park, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Wallace Funeral Home Chapel of Tulia with the Rev. Horace Abbott officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Langston was born July 24, 1913, in Texas County, Mo., to Earnest and Ida Martin Beasley. She was a homemaker and a resident of the Vigo Park community for more than 60 years.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Frank Anderson and Otto Langston; her parents; a sister; and six brothers.

Survivors include two daugters, Ara Sue Langston of Plainview and Betty Louann Wesley and husband, Crawford, of Tulia; a son, James Anderson and wife, Glenna, of Canyon; two stepdaughters, Gertrude Trotter and Dorothy Richardson, both of Plainview; four stepsons, Robert Langston and W.F. Langston, both of Plainview, Don Langston of Granbury and Troy Langston of Tulia; a brother, Verlin Beasley of Raymondville, Mo.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
