Joanne L. Keohane Hardy, 72, of North Lincoln Avenue, Jersey Shore, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
She was born in South Avis Oct. 1, 1935, a daughter of Patrick J. and Mary Ellen Bennett Keohane. She was a Jersey Shore High School graduate and married David H. Hardy March 7, 1958, and he survives.
She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Jersey Shore. Joanne loved her family and grandchildren.
Besides her husband Dave, she is survived by two daughters, Christina of Jersey Shore and Catherine of Bronx, N.Y.; two sons, Patrick (Grace) Hardy of Jersey Shore and Timothy of Williamsport; eight grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Suponcic (Ed) of Jersey Shore; and two brothers, Timothy (Sandra) Keohane of Mill Hall and Harry Lee Keohane of San Diego, Calif.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Trisha Ann Hardy, Nov. 14, 1995, and a sister, Ellie Keohane.
In keeping with Joanne's and her family's wishes, there will be no visitation and her services will be conducted privately, as will her interment in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
