Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Woodworth.
Mr. Sorensen was a farmer for over 60 years.
He was born Nov. 8, 1915, in Ash Grove Township, the son of Edward and Anna Brutlag Sorensen.
His wife, the former Lillian Bernhard, whom he married Oct. 12, 1947, died Oct. 1, 2004.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II (Feb. 11, 1942-Oct. 15, 1945) with the military police and was a member of the Watseka American Legion Post 23.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the church men's club, the Dart Club, the Farm Bureau, the Associated Milk Producers Inc. and the Dairy Herd Improvement Association.
He enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre; playing the accordion; biking and all sports. He played softball with kids.
