Gardners, R.D. 2, Feb. 14. - Miss Irma (sic) Myers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Myers, Gardners, R.D. 2, became the bride of Arron Jumper, of Carlisle, on Saturday afternoon at Shillington. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Ira Trostle.

The guests at the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Dunkle, of Carlisle; Violette Billett, Lois and Ronald Myers, sister and brother of the bride; Verna Hoffman, Benjamin Hartline, Asenath Myers, Marlin Kerr.

The bride wore a gown of black velvet and carried a bouquet of gardenias and Talisman roses. Mr. and Mrs. Jumper will reside at 224 South Hanover Street, Carlisle.

Aaron L. Jumper, 1321 Spring Road, died this morning shortly after he was stricken while working on Belvedere Street. He was removed to the Carlisle Hospital in the community ambulance and was pronounced dead on arrival.

Jumper was employed by the Harrisburg Gas Division of the United Gas Improvement Co. and had been working for the company on a project on Belvedere Street when he became ill.

The funeral service for Aaron L. Jumper, 1321 Spring Road, who was pronounced dead on arrival at the Carlisle Hospital yesterday morning after becoming ill while at work for the United Gas Improvement Company on Belvedere Street, will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Hoffman Funeral Home, 219 North Hanover Street. The Rev. Charles T. Sardeson, pastor of the First Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Westminster Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on Thursday evening at the funeral home.

A veteran of World War II, Mr. Jumper was an employe (sic) of the UGI Company. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church, the Cumberland Star Lodge F. and A.M. No. 197, St. John's Royal Arch Chapter No. 171, the Carlisle Fish and Game Association, the Eagles lodge and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 1941, of Harrisburg.

Mr. Jumper was born on Nov. 20, 1910, a son of the late William W. and Lenora Finkenbinder Jumper.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma R. Myers Jumper; a son, James J., at home; two brothers, Paul, Carlisle, and Charles, York, and a sister, Mrs. Boyd Enck, Carlisle.
