Steven Llanas Granillo, 41, of Rupert, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at St Luke's Magic Valley Hospital in Twin Falls.
Steven was born December 31, 1970, in Rupert, ID to Adela and Gregorio Granillo. He lived in Rupert until he graduated from Minico High School in 1990. He then moved to Boise, ID. and lived there until moving back to Rupert on May 5, 2012.
He worked as a Norco Representative in Boise. He was a member of the St Nicholas Catholic Church.
Steven enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, watching football, and he loved camping.
Steven is survived by his mother, Adela Granillo; brothers: Greg (Crystal) Granillo, of Declo, Mike Granillo, of Pocatello, Joe Granillo and Rick (Melanie) Granillo, both of Burley, John Granillo and Paul Granillo, both of Rupert; sisters: Margarite Casas, of TX, and Anne (Pete) Nanez, of Rupert; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gregorio; sister, Virginia; and brothers, Tom and Jesse.
A funeral memorial mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2012, at the St Nicholas Catholic Church in Rupert, with Father Julio Vicente as celebrant.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hansen Mortuary.
