He was born December 20, 1916 in Muir the son of Orlando and Maude (Crandell) Sage.
Marvin married Myrtle Lewis November 14, 1942 in Muir.
He served in the Army as a Sgt. During WWII. He was a member of Sheridan V.F.W. and Saranac American Legion. He loved to hunt, fish and camp.
Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Myrtle Sage of Ionia, son, Richard (Lynn) Sage of Belding; grandson, Bryon Sage of Belding; great grandsons, Riley Sage and Mason Sage of Belding; sister-in-law, Eloise Sage of Muskegon; special friends, Jim and Jan Corey and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Benson Sage and Merle Dorey and one sister, Mildred Shepard.
A graveside service will be held Monday, August 13th, 11:00 A.M. at Oakwood Cemetery in Muir. Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home of Muir.
