Willie Dee Stogsdill, known to most as Billie or Dee, was born in Tyler, Tx on Mar. 1, 1933, and departed on Aug. 5, 2012 and resided in Denver, CO.

Daughter of Sam Jones Brock and Zeffee Ola Bowles, Sister of Cecil Brock, deceased, Aleene Polvadore, deceased, Hubert Brock, deceased, Louise Adams of Florida and Barbara Fernandez of Oregon.

She was married to Lee Stogsdill for 62 wonderful years. They have resided in Denver all of their married life.

She was the mother of 6 girls: Mary Stepanich of Arvada, Tinkie Sanders - deceased, Betty Hoselton - deceased, Janet Stogsdill of Las Vegas, Barbara "Bobbie Ann" McCartney of Denver, and Debbie Shaw of Aurora. Grandmother of 25 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren, also survived by numerous nieces and nephew.

She loved playing her nickel slot machines, playing poker with her family and was very proud of being the president of her special poker club.

She was known for making the best chocolate cake with runny icing, Spanish rice, meat loaf, pancakes, eggs in the hole and she made the best sweet tea in the world.

She always had a bowl of "grandma mints" to great you at the door.

It was her wish to be cremated. She would not want us to go on on grieving for her but to be happy for her knowing she was in a much better place. She will be with her two daughters and other family members who had gone on before for her once again. She will no longer be in pain and will always be looking down on us.

She has left us all with so many wonderful memories and we know she will be with each of us every day, in our minds and in our hearts.
