She graduated from Marion High School in 1912 and Coe College in 1918. She was employed by Scott Foresman Publishing Company in Chicago many years.
She married Frank E. Howe 16 Sept. 1946 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He died in 1956.
In 1972 she moved to Cedar Rapids where she lived until her death 12 October 1978.
