Benito was survived by his wife, Tina of Los Alamos, two sons, Michael of Santa Fé, NM and Gino of Farmington, NM, daughter, Rita Martínez of Albuquerque, NM, brother, Horace of Albuquerque, NM, sister Rafaelita Martínez, six grandchildren and other relatives.
On December 2, 1950, Benito married Tina T. Martínez in Springer, New Mexico.
Benito was employed at the Los Alamos National Laboratory for 40 years.
Benito was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
