Mary Ann Murphy, 47, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012 in Humble, Texas. Mary was born September 26, 1964 in Houston, Texas to J.D. and Nelda Allen. Mary Ann worked for the Texas Department of Public Safety for 28 years. Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Don Murphy; children, Scott Murphy and Keri Murphy; brother, Wesley Allen and wife Trisha; mother, Nelda C. Allen; brother-in-law, Jimmy Murphy and wife Tammy; sister-in-law, Denise Twitty and husband Shannon; nieces and nephews, Michael, Crystal, Keith, John, Holly, Charlie, Kaitlyn and Caleb; numerous other relatives and a host of loving friends in the Humble area. Funeral services were held Monday, July 23, 2012 at Rosewood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Gray officiating. Graveside services were held at Chita Cemetery, Trinity County, TX. She will be greatly missed.
