Moses Fisk was born July 25, 1794 in Waitsfield, Washington, Vermont. He was the third son of Deacon Moses Fisk and Hannah (Batcheldor).
He married first to Mary Johnson and had several children. After her passing he married Rebecca (Ferrin) and had one son, Henry Clay
"He was a well known citizen of Waterville, Vermont, where he successfully held the office of Town Clerk for 25 years. He also served as Justice of the Peace, State Senator, Judge and Representative, the latter post lasting 8 years. He was also Deacon in the Congregational Church in Waterville, Vermont." -Gordon S.
