Mr. Edward Franklin McKay, 79, widower of Mrs. Lula Robinson McKay, of McKay Road, Martinez, Georgia, entered into rest at 11:35 p.m. Monday, November 5, 1973, at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Telfair Street, with the Rev. Albert Stroup officiating. Interment will be in the West View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be W.G. Luther, W.W. Murphy, W.B. Hodges, J.R. Partridge, J.W. Wren and Alex Florence. Mr. McKay was a native of Mitchell, Ga., and was a retired construction superintendent. He was a member of Carpenter's Local and Marks Baptist Church. Survivors include four sisters, Lily B. McKay, Mrs. Mary Lou Douglas and Mrs. N.W. Bradler, Augusta, and Mrs. Leona Barrentine, Hamilton, Ontario, and one brother, George R. McKay, Augusta.
