Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Brother Howard Alexander and David Hill officiating. Born in the Spring Hill Community of Maury County, he was the son of the late Tom Faulkner and Agnes Horsford Faulkner. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1956-1958.Since retirement, Mr. Faulkner continued farming and loved tinkering with old cars, especially Ford trucks. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
A devoted family man, he is survived by his wife, Louise Scott Faulkner, whom he married December 23, 1955; children, Reatha (James) Irwin of Santa Fe, James (Evelyn) Faulkner of Santa Fe, Cheryl (Dean) Johnson of Columbia, Debra (David) Hill of Santa Fe, Jerry (Cindy) Faulkner of Santa Fe, and Alan (Pam) Faulkner of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Anthony (Miranda) Gordon, Scotty (Aftan) Faulkner, Brad Hill, Chris (Stacy) Gordon, Justin (Brandi) Faulkner, Brian Johnson, Brent (Sarah) Hill, Sarah Johnson, Katie Faulkner, Allie Faulkner, Ashley Faulkner, and Kallie Faulkner; great-grandchildren, Beckham Faulkner, Cason Hill, Emerson Faulkner, McKinley Faulkner; sisters, Ruby Stanfill and Lennie (Pete) Boatright of Columbia; brother, Junior (Judy) Faulkner of Santa Fe.
