There are discrepancies in the spelling of Nancy's maiden name: Gutridge/Guthridge/Guterich/Goodrich.
For the purpose of searching, I will use Gutridge as is her father's spelling on his site.

There is also speculation that her mother's maiden name was Chadwell rather than Graff.

There are discrepancies as to where she was born as well...OH or VA. Due to the fact that her father didn't come to Licking County, OH until 1808, I will use VA as the location. Her children (who live to answer the question on census that documented the data) weren't consistent in their answers on census:
Mary Jane VA in 1880 and OH in 1900
William MD in 1880 dies before 1900
Lucinda has VA in 1880 dies before 1900
Lewis has OH in 1880 and 1900
Susan has VA in 1880 and OH in 1900
Caroline has VA in 1880 dies before 1900
John has OH in 1880 and 1900 MD in 1910 and 1920
Sarah has VA in 1880 and 1900
