Richard W. 'Dick' Travis was born September28,1931, in Havana, son of Bert and Belva Travis. After their passing, he was adopted by Alvin and Anita Rentscher. He married Connie Doty November 22, 1959, in Herrick.
Surviving are his adopted parents; wife of 53 years; daughter, Lori (Pat) Przykopanski; sons, Rick (Kim) Travis and Mark (Stephanie) Travis; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and mother-in-law, Dorothy Doty-Cowden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; adopted parents son, Gerald 'Jerry' L. Travis; grandson, Justin Travis and two great-grandsons
He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict.
