SS: Louise Terry BlevinsTerry, Lawrence-84 of Oneida passed away Thursday, March 26, 1987, at his home. He was the son of the late Starlin and Sarah Cotton Terry and was also preceded in death by his first wife, Flossie Smith Terry; one daughter, Louise Blevins; two sisters, Ella Phillips and Rosa Ellis; and one brother, Howard Terry. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Tunnel Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Terry is survived by his wife, Ruby Terry; one daughter, Joyce Swain of Crystal Lake, Fla.; one son, Odell Terry of Robbins; step-daughter, Wilda Ipock of Oneida; stepson, Caney Taylor of Oneida; two sisters, Myrtle Cross and Dellie Smith; two brothers, Lonnie B. Terry and Woodrow Terry, all of Oneida; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, March 29, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Honeycutt and Rev. Clifford Garrett officiating. Special music was provided by Mr. and Mrs. Segal Phillips. Burial was in the Terry Family Cemetery at Paint Rock. Serving as pallbearers were: Het Phillips, Clifford Smith, Millard Smith, Buddie Smith, Jimmie Ipock and Bill Ipock. Jones and Son Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
